I'm Efthymios Vogiatzis.
Pharmacist by training, AI and data product leader by career, founder of VE1 Advisory. Based in Vienna, working across Europe.
The story
Behind the counter
I started in community pharmacy. Every day was doses, interactions and names that looked almost like other names, and the habit of treating the almost as real.
A small discrepancy is never small.
In uniform
Compulsory service as a military pharmacist: procurement, stock control and dispensing, all under strict audit. Count, sign, reconcile.
Into data and AI
More than ten years in insurance, industrial technology, biopharmaceuticals and life-sciences instruments, ending as owner of a global AI and SaaS (software as a service) product line with a 50+ person team.
The work that holds up is rarely the model. It's the data underneath and the room where the decision is made.
Why VE1
VE1 reads as vee-one. The initials are Vogiatzis, Efthymios. The sound comes from the cockpit: V1, the speed past which a takeoff continues, calmly, by plan.
